Visit Minding Your Business at 3558 Hickory Hill Road, Memphis, TN 38115

Our next client visit took us to Minding Your Business Consignment Store. Owned and operated by Ron Brooks, this store consigns quality, brand name professional clothing at great prices. We were so impressed, in fact, that my intern, James, and I both walked out of there as happy customers.

The store is just getting started, so Ron is still building up his inventory.  HELP HIM!  GET PAID!  Bring in any business clothing you have! You can even consign formal clothes, prom dresses, purses and other accessories.

Running to the checkout counter. I can’t believe I got this Evan Picone blazer for $8. I’m sold.

And while you’re waiting for your shopping buddy to finish up in the dressing room relax in this comfortable, elegant chair. It forms right to your body.

Business owner and CEI client, Stephanie Chatman had a vision to create a high-end spa and salon in the heart of Beale Street.  She came to us looking for help honing her business plan and seeking a creative way to help close the gap in her financing needs.  We are excited to be part of this new venture that serves the needs of both locals and tourists and also creates new jobs for Memphis.  We are pleased to share that Ms. Chatman’s vision translated into a reality and the doors have officially opened for business!

With the help of University of Memphis alumni Ron Brooks and Cleo Hayes, the Center for Entrepreneurship team brainstormed to create a wine and cheese event, that not only introduced the spa to the community, but developed a means by which members in the community could help close the gap in financing by purchasing gift cards at a fifty percent discount.  Truly, this creates a win-win situation whereby Memphians can make a difference by investing in each other.

Kingdom Kreations Day Spa is truly a way to pamper yourself while enjoying the heart and soul of the city.  Why not treat yourself and give Stephanie a call at (901) 590-2136 or book an appointment through her website at http://www.kkspalons.com/
